Why might side effects occur during treatment administration?
Side effects may occur when the body’s qi and blood energy are reduced. This can happen when there is no sufficient energy to excrete waste byproducts from the body. As these waste byproducts increase, they can accumulate in the tissue of the body. The body’s meridians will be blocked, blood vessels will become hard and narrow, cells will be damaged, organ functions will decline, thus causing diseases. When anti-oxidation detoxification therapy is used, the meridians are activated and the toxins are excreted, which will increase the blood volume. This process of conditioning is painless and, when effective, skin cells will be rejuvenated. This may cause itching which is a desirable response as germs are eliminated.
What happens after?
The side effects that can occur in response to treatments are considered recovery reactions and are not toxic, nor are they allergic reactions. These reactions are self-regulated by the body which increases overall energy and blood supply, while also strengthening the immune system, and expelling toxins. When overall physical fitness and wellbeing are improved, the body’s self healing system will conduct a “cleansing” of the body’s internal system, detoxify and purify the blood. During the adjustment period, there are no negative consequences as the body heals through a process of repair, letting go of the old and allowing in a renewed and cleaned system. The body’s metabolism will be accelerated to discharge a large amount of waste byproducts so some may experience transient discomfort.
